Job Title: Project Coordinator Company: Dignity Partnership Location: Online and might require travelling around the country Contract type: 11 months part-time Salary rate €11.50 per hour Hours: 12 hours per week Start Date 03 October 2022 Reports to: CEO Organisation overview: About Dignity Partnership Dignity Partnership (DiP) is a work integration social enterprise that promotes personal and enterprise development for people from a refugee and asylum seeking background. The purpose of DiP is to integrate refugees, people seeking asylum and migrants into the business community, and to meaningfully contribute their passions, talents, and interests using an entrepreneurial mindset. Thereby breaking the barriers of social inclusion, and empowering members to fulfil their economic and social potential. With Youth Fund 2022 (Employment) from Community Foundation we are seeking a person to coordinate the ‘Begin Become, Be U!’ project. This project is aimed at responding to the needs of marginalised young people with regards to self-employment and entrepreneurial skills. It will support the young people to publicly voice out their needs and aims to create a support network for peer learning and access to self-employment support services for the young people. To ensure the young people’s needs are met this project will be led by the young people. Job Purpose: This role involves supporting Dignity Partnership team with the effective implementation of the project ensuring the highest standards are achieved in delivering the project. The coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely records are maintained on the website and social media and will prepare a report for submission the funder on completion of the project. The role requires flexibility and adaptability as the nature of support requirements could change. Key Responsibilities: ● Support in recruiting participants for the programme ● Organise Boot camps ● Coordinate peer learning groups and check in with the peer learning leaders ● Identifying, and liaising with, the young people on how the project can be beneficial and effective ● Attend meetings both online and in person ● Work with the Communications team to promote the project and raise awareness about the experiences of young people and the required supports. ● Assist in preparing the impact report. ● Work with country teams to develop case studies based on examples of good practice from programmes. ● Assisting with organising roundtable discussion and recognition awards ● Facilitate the development of the guide to self-employment ● Facilitate the design a of Migrant entrepreneur’s directory ● Support both ongoing and new special projects within the organisation ● Any ad hoc duties as assigned by the CEO or other members of the Management Team. Knowledge, Experience and Other Requirements Essential ● Excellent IT skills in particular MS Office ● Excellent communication skills ● Passionate about entrepreneurship ● Strong Social media skills ● Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. ● Good financial management skills ● Ability to work as part of a team ● Own laptop Desirable ● Experience in reporting ● Experience of humanitarian / working with marginalised communities. ● An understanding of the barriers facing young people starting up in business ● Experience in programme design and using participatory approaches in design and implementation. ● Work with minimum supervision and take initiative ● Ability to analyse data, solve problems and take corrective action HOW TO APPLY: Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Ireland.
